Napalm and Silly Putty

by George Carlin (2001)

By Hamilton X

I loved the first George Carlin book so much that I placed it in my Top Ten Novels of all time. When I found out that he has published another book named Napalm & Silly Putty I rushed out to buy it. I usually wait until a book goes on clearance before I buy it, but in this case I would gladly make an exception.

I read this book in two days and loved every minute of it. I laughed so hard that I think I broke couple of my rips. The only problem I had with this book was that a lot of the jokes in it I already heard in his stand-up. This book did contain some jokes I never heard before and brought new life to his older jokes.

Now this book isn't for everyone, because it contains a lot of foul-language and explicit content. Carlin is the master of sarcasm and degrading politics. He has been doing stand-up comedy for over forty years. He was one of the first main guest on Saturday Night Live. He is a true Veteran of comedy. I give this book 9/10.
