LaTour

LaTour (1991)

By Hamilton X

This CD, being on the label of Smash Records, is not very good.

The only good song on this CD is "people are still having sex" and maybe two, if you consider a remix as another song. I don't want to seem like a asphole, but I couldn't get into the other songs on this CD. I thought a group who uses sound-bites from Evil Dead 2 would automatically make a good techno-dance album...boy was I wrong.

I only enjoyed two songs on this album. The rest of the album is a complete waste of time. The other songs sound quality is like a 24kps, mp3. After listening to the nauseating "Allen's Got a New Hi-Fi" and "Laurie Monster", I found a new type of pain. The only people who should be buying this album are Arm Force Officials, who can use the CD as a new type of torture for imprisoned war-criminals. Just tie them to a steel chair and force them to listen to five minutes of this album.

This album doesn't deserve a long review, since it is just a bad rip-off of Ministry's early years, but since I do like two songs from the album I give it 3/10
